Accessing Our FTP Server
Our FTP Address is: ftp://metrophotoandframes.com
To access our FTP Server, you must first contact us to set you up with a Username and Password. Call us at 952-473-9094 or email us at metrophoto@qwest.net with your name, address and specific instructions on your ftp needs.
Next, you will need an FTP client.
An FTP Client is a piece of software that allows you to access an FTP Server. Internet Explorer has an FTP Client function built in. Some other good FTP Clients we recommend are Smart FTP,
FileZilla,
or FTP Voyager.
Once you have downloaded your FTP Client, simply open the program and connect to our address using the username and password we have given you.
Using Internet Explorer 7
If you have the latest version of Internet Explorer, you may access the FTP server by following these directions. Please read both steps before moving on.
1. Go to our web address at ftp://metrophotoandframes.com. You will receive an error message that says "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage."
2. Click the Page button, and choose Open FTP site in Windows Explorer. You may then log in as normal.
Once you have logged into the FTP server, you can add, copy or delete any of your files. You may even create new folders to organize your files if you would like. If you are leaving a large order, please organize your files into separate folder by print size.
**Be sure to email us at metrophoto@qwest.net and let us know that you have sent something by FTP.** |
